Welcome to cozy tots! I started cozy tots because as a mom living in the Northeast, I found that there was a need for mittens that were warm, easy to get on, allowed for hand movement and stayed on. My goal in starting cozy tots was to create a product that I found worked for me and would be useful for others.

I've had two very successful years, getting a great response from my boutique and online customers. Last year I started exclusively using microfleece (made of 90%+ recycled materials! made in Massachusetts by Polartec, added a matching stay-on hat and moved manufacturing to Massachusetts. And this year I found the perfect manufacturing partner - MoJo manufacturing in Lowell, Ma (www.getamericanmojo.com). MoJo hires and trains single moms (also giving them benefits and free child care!).

Our mittens have an extra layer of fleece sewn into the fingertips that keep little fingers warm and dry when playing outside in the colder months. They have an elastic on the wrist and an elastic at the cuff to keep them on which is perfect for infants and toddlers.  And because toddlers can move their hands, chances are they want to keep them on longer. Moms "discover" my mittens and tell all their friends and they tell their friends....I am constantly hearing that after trying many different winter mittens, these mittens are exactly what parents have been looking for. Often parents buy multiple pairs, to have a backup pair.
