My two-year-old twins love them. Although they are mittens, they somehow allow plenty of movement so my girls are able to grip things and are therefore happy putting them on. And they really do stay on when I put them on before their coats. We seriously went through four or five other brands of mittens looking for one my twins would keep on and be happy keeping on!

 My 2 year old would pull off her mittens regardless of the weather. We tried mittens with strings, zips, buttons, etc. She pulled them all off. Cozy tots are the only mittens that not only stay on my daughter's hands but that she actually likes wearing! Functional, cozy warm and adorable!
